Summer Picnic at the Park

It was a day for kids to celebrate summer!
A fun first annual picnic was had by all that attended the recent our childhood cancer picnic
at the oldest state park: Lake Sammamish State Park, just east of Seattle Washington, on the beautiful shores of the Lake Sammamish.
The weather was a perfect Northwest summer day,
A giant cool blue whale, a bouncy giraffe, hand printing crafts, hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream cones, water guns, bubbles, and water balloons...lots of water, all waited to supply entertainment and fun for our kids and their families during the days event.
Big and little kids and (from 4 years to 40+) joined in the water fight!
Lisa Griffith, president said, "It was good to see these kids outside the clinics having fun, just being 'kids' that’s the way it should be..."
